What Our Patients Say…
As chiropractors, nothing means more to us than seeing our patients live a more fulfilling, healthy life. Sometimes we will have patients give us feedback on us and we would love to share those with you. Below are a couple of those stories for you to review and please contact our office if you have any questions.
Yours in Health,
Dr. Deane Mink
“OMG! What is this sharp pain shooting down my back and leg?”
I’ve never felt anything quite like this – what can I do to ease this? Do I sit down? Do I try to straighten up and walk it out? These were questions going through my mind when I shifted my foot the wrong way while working out with weights at the gym! I could barely walk, so I decided to sit down and see if the pain and burning sensation would subside. It did eventually ease off but would not go completely away.
I made it home and put ice on my lower back – excellent advice given me by my all-knowing husband! After a sleepless night, I knew I had to have an intervention…but what? Where? Being a health conscious person and one who does not like to take prescription drugs, I decided to go out on a limb and see a chiropractor. (Yes, at the time I felt that seeing a chiropractor was “going out on a limb”!) I had a friend who saw Dr. Deane Mink, so I decided to give his office a call. Much to my surprise, after explaining my dilemma, the kind person on the phone told me to come on in, that Dr. Mink would work me in that very morning! (That’s pretty awesome in itself – taking into consideration that I was not an existing patient.)
I had barely sat down in the chair at his office when I was called to the exam room. This was the first time I had ever met Dr.Mink. He asked me a few questions and said he would like to take an x-ray of my spine just to be sure how my discs looked. I agreed. A few minutes after the x-ray was done, I was back in with Dr. Mink. He explained that what I was experiencing was a condition called sciatica and went into detail – he then asked if I had any questions. I had one…. can you help the pain? His reply… “Young lady, I can stop the pain!” Awesome! I love self-confidence when it comes to someone I need help from!!
He saw me three times that week and for a couple of weeks following, then we dropped back to twice a week, then once a week. Honestly, I felt relief after the first visit – I had some soreness from the adjustment – but the pain was remarkably better. Each visit thereafter the pain continued to lessen. Finally, it hurt no more. This was some 15 years ago.
Now, I see Dr. Mink once a month because life is good, but life – back pain free is awesome!! Thank you, Dr. Mink!

Ear and Neck Pain
(by Pam Kebler, mother of Alex Kebler)
What were Alex’ symptoms prior to becoming our patient? Pain in ear and neck from fluid build up and negative pressure on eardrum, which not only caused pain but Alex, had moderate hearing loss as well.
For how long? Approximately two months gradually worsening.
What other methods did you try before Chiropractic? Two types of prescription allergy medications. The second medication was given as a last resort prior to surgery, which was going to be within two months.
What were the results? No relief and we were about to schedule surgery for another set of tubes in ears or possibly grafting surgery of right ear.
When did you start Chiropractic care? Who recommended it to you? September 07, 2006, Dr. Ken Register.
What is your current status? He was pain free after three adjustments and continues to be pain free.
What are some things that he can do now that he couldn’t do before? His hearing is improving and simple things like getting dressed and pulling a shirt over his head aren’t painful anymore. He can swim without pain or pressure afterward and he sleeps better. He feels better and has been much happier, too.
Other information: We began Chiropractic Care in an attempt to relieve a misalignment after a minor car accident but gained this extraordinary benefit as a result. What a benefit! To have results like this without surgery is a miracle. We are so grateful to Dr. Register!
Would you recommend Chiropractic to others? Yes. Definitely.
Lower Back and Shoulder Pain
Chiropractic Testimonial – by William Plymel
What were your symptoms prior to becoming our patient? Lower back pain and pain between shoulder blades.
For how long? 3 – 6 months.
What other methods did you try before Chiropractic? None.
When did you start Chiropractic care? Who recommended it to you? 10- 20. Been before for neck problems.
What is your current status? Immediate relief. Pain free.
What are some things that you can do now that you couldn’t do before? I have complete mobility, I can do anything I want to do.
Other information (Anything else you would like to say?) I work in a pharmacy warehouse on the shipping line and I have to do repeated turning, twisting, lifting, and bending with the boxes that weigh anywhere from 10 lbs to about 50 lbs. all day long. My back and between my shoulder blades had gotten so stiff and I was in so much pain it was hard to make it through the day but I’ve been coming to get an adjustment once a month for the last year and I very seldom ever have any pain. I can work all day and still be pain free. It’s like I got a new back. One adjustment, once a month is worth it.
Would you recommend Chiropractic to others? Yes.
If we can help, we’ll tell you. If we can’t, we’ll direct you to someone who can.
